Carbon Reduction Statement
Cazbah is committed to becoming a carbon neutral company, achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 in line with the UK Government’s commitment under the Climate Change Act.
Furthermore the Carbon Reduction Plan for our registered office in Cardiff Bay that is shared with our PR partner Working Word can be found here.
Sustainability and reducing Cazbah’s Carbon Footprint through responsible environmental decision-making takes place at all levels within our business. This includes and is not limited to:
Our Business Model:
-
Employee home working / energy use
-
Digital infrastructure and cloud services
-
Purchased goods and services (supply chain)
-
Business travel (minimal)
Sustainable Business Principals:

Venue selection and good practice
We utilise our good relations with conference venues to ensure sustainable practices that reduce carbon footprints. This includes:
-
Ensuring access to public transport by road and rail, and overseas travel requirements (hybrid events will be considered in this case)
-
Community impact e.g noise levels, traffic congestions, boost the local economy etc
-
Availability of local food and drink suppliers to reduce transport impact and plentiful vegan/vegetarian menus.
-
Available sources of green energy at the venue e.g. renewable energy for light and heating
-
An up-to-date environmental policy and Carbon Reduction Plan that highlights their own commitment to Net Zero.
Using sustainable products and services
Cazbah prioritise working with suppliers with eco-friendly options for all aspects of event management, including event-filming, audio-visual and staging, print services and merchandise, reducing the carbon footprint of our events and by extension our client. We do this by:
-
Adopting a 'digital-first' approach to event information
-
Aiming for plastic-free events.
-
Ensuring that any merchandise options are sustainable, using local suppliers.
-
Work with audio-visual and staging suppliers that are able to provide energy-efficient lighting wherever possible and work to ensure that staging and graphics can be re-purposed for other events for our clients or partners
-
Seeking low-carbon transportation solutions, using local suppliers and/or public transport and ride-share options wherever possible.
-
Considering hybrid or virtual events. Cazbah's online platform eventbocs helps to reduce carbon emissions by reducing travel along with the other considerations outlined above.
