The Seren Academy is a Welsh Government initiative designed to help Wales’ most able and talented students realise their potential and aspire to study at the UK’s and world’s leading universities. Cazbah has managed and delivered the Seren events programme since 2017, supporting the development of thousands of high-achieving students across Wales through engaging, bilingual experiences.

Before 2020, Seren’s flagship event was a three-day national in person conference and exhibition, attracting 1,200–1,500 students and 50 exhibitors, including top UK and international universities. When the pandemic hit, Cazbah seamlessly transitioned the programme to virtual delivery via our own bilingual eventbocs platform — ensuring Seren’s reach and impact continued without interruption.

Cazbah has continued to deliver the full Seren Academy programme, managing all aspects of planning, logistics, communications, and technical production. This has included:

  • A virtual Seren Academy Launch event for over 1,600 students, parents and teachers.

  • A Year 12 national conference for over 1,500 students.

  • A Foundation Seren conference for Years 8–10, engaging more than 1,200 pupils.

  • A series of academic seminars with the Universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Aberystwyth and Cardiff.

  • Admission test preparation, mentoring and online support events.

  • Summer Schools with Yale University, Jesus College Oxford, New College, Oxford, University of Cambridge, Cardiff University, Aberystwyth University and the Seren International Online Summer School.

  • The Seren Speaker Series, filmed live at The Atrium in Cardiff. Inspired by the TEDx format, the series brought together academics, entrepreneurs, and Seren alumni to share thought-provoking talks designed to motivate and challenge students. Produced to broadcast quality with bilingual presentation and professional studio production, the series was distributed to schools across Wales, extending Seren’s reach and providing lasting, on-demand content for classroom and independent use.
